We are searching for a Quantitative Risk Manager (m/f/div) to strengthen our Risk department


What Will Keep You Challenged?

  • You will accompany ELEMENT through the exciting growth process - not only from a risk perspective
  • You are responsible for the application and further development of the quantitative risk management system, and in particular for the design of the risk-bearing capacity system
  • You will accompany all major projects and financial decisions of ELEMENT from a quantitative risk point of view and prepare corresponding analyses and scenario calculations
  • You will use our "internal" model system and consistently develop it further in cooperation with Finance and Pricing/Actuary
  • You will also be responsible for the Solvency II reporting, i.e. the preparation, validation and submission of quantitative and narrative Solvency II reports
  • You will develop the necessary requirements for the Solvency II validation assessment, monitor the data supply and the data quality, and present and discuss the results with the Board of Managing Directors
  • In addition to risk management, you will work on other topics in the area of financial modelling and other quantitatively challenging topics, such as dynamic pricing

Ihr Profil/ Requirements

What Will Make You Succeed?

  • You have a very good knowledge of insurance technology and/or financial mathematics with insurance relevance and at least 4 years experience in the insurance business
  • You have a university degree in a quantitative discipline and ideally have completed or begun training as an actuary
  • You have a very good knowledge of statistics and stochastics
  • You have very good knowledge of Excel and ideally of mathematical/statistical software such as MATHLAB or R
  • You have a very good knowledge of at least one of the standard Solvency II reporting tools like SOLVARA or zeb.control
  • You are a visionary in risk management and integrated business management and at the same time an organizer and hands on, so that your vision becomes reality
  • You are a team player, open to other ideas and quick to pick up on new developments
  • You are also reliable and accurate
  • Business level proficiency in both German & English
